The image above was taken in one of my nest boxes this morning. I was quite surprised to see that the eggs had been laid on a bare surface. The nest is half built, the cup is bare wood. Below is the heavily cropped image. I have never come across this before. The eggs belong to either Blue Tit or Great Tit
Tit eggs are laid daily so I must assume that this was laid this morning

The boxes haven't progressed as much as I would have liked over the last seven days. Owing the the progress made in the 50 that I checked this morning, I'll leave the other 60 until next week.
