Unusual location for LT Tit nest

Today I put my waders on for my first search around the reservoir for the nests of Rails and Grebes. I was not expecting to find my first Long-tailed Tit nest of the year. The nest was unusually in the fork of a willow tree approx 12ft out from the banksides over water about 4ft deep. It contained 8+ eggs.

I also found this Canada Goose nest with 4 eggs

this Coot nest with 8 eggs

This Little Grebe nest with 4 eggs

and another with 2 eggs

a Moorhen nest lined ready for use

a Moorhen nest with 1 egg

and another Moorhen nest with 8 eggs that unfortunately I was not able to photograph
