Raven (Corvus corax)

Today we went down to the engine houses to see if the Raven were still on the nest or fledging - they were fledged - 

fledged young No1


and fledged young No2


They were in the bushes for over an hour without moving. Probably trying to take in their new surroundings before they become skilled fliers mobbing Buzzards

the adults keep a watchful eye out from the top of the chimney -  


a Jackdaw flies past for a size comparison - no match
