The weekend wasn't the best. I had planned to go to the coast, go to the Hayle, finish the Tawny boxes and redesign the feeding station down at Stithians.
One of the cats was seriously ill Saturday morning which took the edge off seeing the first ever Long-tailed Tit's in the garden. Unfortunately Sylvester passed away at 2pm. After watching England vs Australia World Cup Rugby League on the telly, a hard fought game that became a bit ill tempered around the hour mark and a game that England lost, I decided to check Hells Mouth for returning Fulmar. No sooner had I got to the exposed coast path that was being battered with strong wind, it rained - heavy and hard, I got soaked.
Sunday, I had a quick look at the feeding station but decided to leave any modifications until after the possible "hurricane" forecast to hit the south west. The rest of the day was spent in the garage finishing two more Tawny boxes and making two bird feeding tables. Not a great weekend......
