Nesting Rails

Had a quick look at the Northern Cut Off tonight on the reservoir, the Coot sitting on 6 before I went away now has 4 young, probably a week old, the Moorhen on 7 eggs now has 5 young probably 3-4 days old, the Moorhen sitting on 2 is now clutched on 7

Unfortunately the Little Grebe eggs (4) are non-existent.

On the Southern end the 4 Carrion Crow young survive at feathers large and it looks like the GC Grebe eggs have hatched. Both parents were sitting in the greenery away from the nest, typical behaviour when the young haven't long hatched. My calculation for hatching was the 30th so I wasn't far out.
